2011, 6’- 170 lb outfield prospect Josh Ferguson is a relentless worker in the On Deck O’s Program that has willed himself into a top player in the area. He is a kid that loves to hit and brings the hard work he puts in to the games. He is a gap to gap type hitter who is starting to drive balls as he continues to work hard in the weight room. He gets good reads in the outfield and continues to work on his foot speed and arm strength.  He most likely projects to be a left fielder type at the next level.  His best attribute in this game is no doubt what he is capable of doing offensively. He has been a starter for the Varsity Team at Marvin Ridge High School since he was a Freshman and will continue his development this Fall for Coach Putman (Marvin Ridge HS) and the 2011 On Deck O’s Orange Team. This kid is an outstanding player but an even better person.
