2011, 5’-10”/ 170lb, infield prospect Shawn Weber is a real “gamer”, with an old school mentality approach to the game. He is a kid who is very knowledgeable with a high baseball IQ and really sees the game. He brings aggressive play and a confident swagger to the field. He is a versatile guy who can play anywhere in the infield as well as outfield but will most likely play 2^nd or 3^rd base at the next level. He has great hands defensively and good footwork around the bag and continues to improve his arm strength.  He continues to improve his foot speed and has a body that will enable him to add some good weight.  Offensively he is a right handed hitter who can really get the head out on good fastballs but also has a good approach which will help him succeed at the next level. He is always a tough out, and is very good with 2 strikes. He plays infield at JM Robinson High School and this Fall for the 2011 On Deck O’s Black Team. This great kid is a hard worker and an absolute pleasure to coach.
